This was a bucket list project for Jim Barber, a Macon commercial and family photographer.

My wife and I took a guided bus tour of Arizona/ Utah a couple of years ago but the itinerary didn’t include Antelope Canyon. The opportunity arose, this year, for me to return to Arizona with my photographer friend, Johnny Mullis (JOMiii Gallery in Macon). We had 4 days of beautiful weather and took several side trips on our way to the canyon. The following presentation is slow to load but worth the wait. Just last week, I was invited to attend the Middle Georgia Association of Realtors (MGAR) annual awards luncheon at Idle Hour Country Club. Almost 200 of Macon, GAs top realtors attended the event. My wife and I set up a small studio in the front corner of the ballroom and invited award winners to have a complimentary portrait done with their awards. The service was well received and appreciated. I’ve attached some photos of the festivities.

Becoming a Real Estate Photographer is an accomplishment Jim Barber has recently obtained. In this day and age where anyone who “owns a camera” can claim to be a professional photographer, the world of real estate photography requires very specific equipment and expert computer skills. Jim has amassed that equipment and honed those computer skills during his 20 year career as a professional photographer.

To introduce this new service to the community, Jim has designed and distributed two new postcards:
